At the crossroads of the world, in a place where cultures mixed by the literally hundreds and even thousands, a young man sat listening to the hum of a small transister radio. Through its tinny, tiny speaker, young Fereidoun Nassiri would search for the delicious sounds of music coming from the myriad of nations of the earth thrust and parried for control and influence.

Born of this incredible mixture of musics and cultures, loves and anguishes, concerns and promises was a young heart determined to invent a sound that melded all of these styles, instruments and sentiments into a single and singular offereing that would capture and reflect the higher aspirations of the entire world. Here, on the banks of the legendary Caspian Sea, Fereidoun Nassiri first held his dream of creating music like no other.

But as with many dreams reality had other plans, Life on the shores of Iran's magnificent seas found the nine year old Nassiri working the fishing boats in the waters that led out to one of the great oceans of the world. While at night he'd listen to records he'd collect of the world's great musical artists. One day the opportunity presented itself for Nassiri to emigrate to the United States (itself the nation of thousands of cultures and millions of dreams.
